Who we are
Great Southern Excavation is a family owned and operated earthmoving and landscaping business based on the Fleurieu Peninsula. We started with a simple idea — do quality work, treat people fairly, and take pride in every job we take on.
Every project is handled personally. You won't deal with a salesperson or get handed off to a subcontractor. When you call us, you're talking to the people who will actually be on your site doing the work. That's how we like it, and it's how we make sure the standard stays high.
We work across the Fleurieu Peninsula — from residential blocks in Victor Harbor and Goolwa to rural properties across the region. No job is too small, and we bring the same care and attention to a backyard retaining wall as we do to a large earthworks project.
